Trouble concentrating

Happy Saturday!

Today’s topic is about having trouble concentrating in school, work, etc. Especially since we’re nearing the end of the school year, I know it can be hard to focus on studying or other tasks you need to get done. We get distracted by our phones, family, or literally anything else. Let’s be honest, we would rather be doing anything but studying which is why we get so easily distracted. We’re burnt out. This is totally normal, and you’re not alone having trouble focusing on a task at hand. We get disctrated, so we don’t do our work, and this leads to procrastination, and thus stress. This is something that may not entirely go away even as we get older because we might have other things distracting us. It’s okay to procrastinate once in a while, but when it’s something that’s happening every day, you may need to try something new. I recommend putting your phone in a room that’s far away so you won’t be tempted to look at it. It’s super helpful because you won’t get distracted by notifications or having the urge to check social media. You can also study in chunks. Study in small periods of time for like 20-25 minutes and then take a 5 minute break. This way you won’t feel as if you have to study forever and time will feel like it’s going by faster than if you were studying for hours at a time.

Next post is about comparing yourself to others. #focusing #troubleconcentrating #procrastination #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #sanjeevani4u
