Today’s youth story topic is about maintaining a healthy school life balance.
It’s not always easy to balance academics with our lives, especially during this pandemic. As most of us are in high school, it’s not only important to maintain good grades, but also participate in extracurricular activities. Along with this, we need to make time for family and friends. I understand that sometimes it can feel as if all the weight is on your shoulders. It’s hard, finding the right balance. A poor school-life balance can cause more stress and frustration, damaging your mental health.
Some tips you can try are planning out your schedule in a calendar, setting small goals for yourself, prioritizing certain tasks over others, and dedicating some time for a hobby of yours. It might take some time and experimentation to find the right fit for you, but just know you can do it. Next post will be about facing parental/societal pressures.
