Put simply, food is fuel, and the kinds of foods and drinks you consume determine the types of nutrients in your system and impact how well your mind and body are able to function.

Guest speaker – Dr. Samuel George Hansdak (MBBS, MD, MA, FAIMER, DipIBLM)

Dr. Samuel George Hansdak is graduate and post-graduate (Internal Medicine) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He worked as faculty in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal (1994-2000) and then joined Christian Medical College, Vellore in 2000. His interest in Lifestyle Medicine fetched him the award of “Senior Training Fellowship” in 2009. As a part of fellowship, he spent time in various Lifestyle centers and universities in North America. On return, he formed the Lifestyle Medicine team to provide services, train health professionals and conduct scientific research in the areas of Lifestyle Medicine. He is actively spearheading the Lifestyle Medicine movement in India as a founder President of Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
